DJ's Safety Solutions

Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026

Who we are

DJ's Safety Solutions (ABN 94 660 616 569) is a WHS and HSEQ consulting business based in Perth, Western Australia, operated by Daniel Joubert as a sole trader ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of our business. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and to deliver our services. This may include:

Please don't send sensitive information (such as health or medical details) through the contact form. If it's needed for an engagement, such as an incident investigation, we'll discuss how it will be handled first.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you complete the contact form on this website, email or call us, connect with us on LinkedIn, or engage us for work. During an engagement we may also receive information from our client about their workers, contractors or sites.

How we use it

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don't add enquiries to marketing mailing lists.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information where needed to run the business or where required by law. This includes service providers that help us operate:

Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected.

Cookies and website data

This website does not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and performance. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including password-protected accounts and devices. We keep information only for as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (for example, business and tax records are generally kept for five years), and then securely delete or de-identify it.

Client confidentiality

Information we receive from clients during an engagement is treated as confidential and handled in line with our agreement with that client.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
